How we approach OHS

  1. Operation analysis

We review your business from a safety point of view.

  2. Risk assessment

We divide risks into removable and non-removable.

  3. Measures

We eliminate removable risks and secure the rest with protective equipment and procedures.

  4. Tailored documentation

No generic paperwork – only what relates to your activities.

  5. Training and checks

We train your employees and carry out regular checks.

Rely on Rescue Group

We specialise in OHS – occupational health and safety – and in fire protection. We analyse your business from a safety point of view and assess the risks. We then divide the risks into removable and non-removable ones. Removable risks are eliminated on the spot, and the non-removable ones are secured so as to minimise the chance of workers being injured while carrying out their tasks. We recommend the right combination of protective equipment and work procedures to reduce these risks to an absolute minimum. At Rescue Group we do everything comprehensively and sensibly, so we will not fill your drawers with stacks of generic paperwork – instead we deliver structured documentation that relates only to your activities.

The advantage is that we provide further services with the OHS documentation, so you pay once for preparing and delivering it. Any future changes or additions – whether because of a change in legislation or because you decide to expand your business – are free of charge.

We also cover training, inspections and checks

Having your documentation in order is not enough. Your workers must also be properly trained, and here too we offer a solution. We provide a wide range of high-quality OHS training and fire safety training, where besides the theory you also get hands-on practice, such as putting out a fire with an extinguisher. We also provide top-quality first aid training with a resuscitation mannequin and role-players with simulated injuries. We also offer company driver training, which explains the legal aspects of driving a company vehicle, as well as purely practical training, for example on operating various dangerous machines.

At Rescue Group we provide comprehensive OHS and fire protection solutions for your company or premises. We offer flat-rate service packages in which we look after clients as if they were our own company. We take care of everything from documentation to staff training. Inspections, checks and call-outs to workplace injuries are included in the flat fee – 24/7. With our software solution you will always have all your documentation and records at hand and online. We also offer expert advice on internal audits and preparation for certification to ISO 45001, the international standard for occupational health and safety management.

Measuring workload factors in the workplace

We provide professional measurements of key factors that can affect your employees’ overall health in the long term. We work with accredited laboratories and deliver reliable measurements of workload factors such as noise, lighting, dust and physical strain. Accurate measurements help us reduce the risk of occupational diseases and injuries.

What is OHS

OHS stands for occupational health and safety. It is a set of rules governing safety at work so that the risk of injury in the workplace is minimised and prevented. Hand in hand with OHS goes fire protection, a set of rules aimed at preventing fires and dealing with them if they do break out. These rules are laid down by law and are an obligation for every business and self-employed person. Businesses must follow these rules and also have the necessary documentation. In the Czech Republic, OHS is governed by Act No. 309/2006 Coll.. Fire protection is governed by Act No. 133/1985 Coll.; the link also leads to the set of decrees that extend the fire protection rules.

The legislation regulates and describes the rules for all kinds of operations. In addition, you need the right documentation – documentation you can find your way around and that actually helps you keep work safe. This both minimises the risk of injury or another incident and lets you pass any inspection smoothly without the threat of a fine from the authorities. Every employer is obliged to carry out regular OHS checks, both of the documentation and of work procedures and risk elimination.
