Building Inspections
A building inspection from a health and safety and fire protection point of view is a regular, comprehensive check that is important both for maintaining the long-term safety of your operation and for insurers when settling an incident. One of the first things an insurer asks about is the state of your inspections.
We also inspect buildings
During a building inspection, all the aspects you must comply with are checked every six months.
We check whether all the necessary documentation is in order and available,
whether workers are properly trained and know how to evacuate, whether fire patrols are designated and whether escape routes are kept clear.
In large operations we also check that the safety technician position is filled and that fire protection equipment is in order – in short, that everything is as it should be. Last but not least, we check that escape routes are clear and that there is a fire patrol, which is mandatory for larger companies.
